Does it/would it bother you if your partner still speaks to their ex?

My boyfriend occasionally texts his ex. He never tries to hide their conversations from me and he's made it clear he wouldn't get back with her. They also live miles apart anyway. I trust him, and the messages are never openly flirty, just the generic 'merry Christmas', for example. Interested to hear your thoughts!

As long as he doesn't hide it, a heads up would be nice (like they can msg and whatever but he has to let you know she txtd even if he didn't respond) and he doesn't hide it. That's the only way to keep the Trust. The minute he doesn't tell you or starts hiding it, he's thinking bif cheating and quite possibly already doing so

I have my first serious bf, who took my v on fb, and all his family on there to. But that's how we communicate. That's all tho. We dont talk much the occasional hey hope the family is well
