My dad took me to get my ears pierced when I was around 10 years old at Claire's in the mall with a piercing gun. Ever since then, one ear starts to hurt after I put an earring in. I've tried sterling silver and hypoallergenic earrings. I've tried different types. They all hurt that one ear. I think they pierced my ears wrong as the one always seems more swollen where the hole is than the other. I'm 20 now. It hasn't gotten any better. I was thinking about letting them close up, and then going to a tattoo shop to repierce them. Would it be better to do this than to leave my ears the way they are? I've been to my doctor. They never say my ears are infected, so I know it's nothing too serious.
