Condom alternatives

What are some over-The-counter alternatives to condoms that are relatively effective? I am not yet on birth control (I have an appointment soon to get on birth control hopefully, but haven’t been able to yet) and though we have been using condoms, my boyfriend doesn’t really like them and has trouble getting off with them. It’s worked out a bit cause we can have sex for a while and then I can finish him off by hand, but we want to know if there’re any good alternatives out there. Thank you!
