Urinary tract infection (UTI)?

So I had sex yesterday and I didn’t pee afterward. I know, stupid me. Today it’s been hurting to pee, like it stings, and I’ll have the urge to pee but only a little would come out. I would wipe and there would be like a very small amount of blood. What can I do to get rid of this without having to tell my parents or go to the doctors?

You can get UTIs from other things besides sex, if it goes untreated it can turn into a kidney infection which is very dangerous. It is best to tell them you have one and go to the doctor. In the meantime if you need relief you can take AZOs from any drug store and drink cranberry juice

You can’t. You have to get an antibiotic. It could get worse if you don’t do anything about it. Drinking plenty of water and taking azo HELPS but it does NOT treat it.

Definitely go to the doctor. You don’t have to say you were having sex to your parents. You can get UTIs without having sex.

If it is in fact a UTI, then u will need to go to the doctors for antibiotics, as that’s the only way to actually cure the infection. There’s no need to be worried or embarrassed, UTIs aren’t an STI & can happen from many other things. In the meantime, drink lots of water & try to stay away from sugar & caffeine. U could also buy AZO pills at any drug store/pharmacy to help with any pain or discomfort. But, again, the only thing to cure a UTI is antibiotics.
