i am a ftm and i’ve seen many moms poop themselves during labor , i am so terrified of it lol. please tell me i’m not alone

I wasn't progressing much when I was pushing with my first sons birth. I kept pushing with my abs, and pushing myself off the table!! 😂
Then the nurse said no, push like you're taking a huge poop!! 😂😂
Is said, seriously?!?!! Well, I did what she said, and he was out in 3 pushes. You have to push like you're pooping, so yes, you may poop. I probably did with both, luckily my husband or anyone else didn't let me know lol. 
You will be fine. Your main concern will be getting that kid out of your vagina ASAP!!! Trust me!! 🥰🥰

It's pretty common...the doctors and nurses won't be phased by it at all if you do. And by the time you get to that point in labor, you won't care.
If pooping during labor is the worst thing to happen during birth, I'd count that as a win!

I did with one birth and not  with the other  . The nurses just secretly get rid of it, and your in pain so you dont really notice or care by that point.

It’s pretty common, and most of the time if your do no one will tell you and you never know. But the muscles you use to push are the same muscles you use to have a bowel movement
