My company switched insurance options and I had to leave Kaiser for Aetna. New insurance came into effect January 2019. I've done some research and have chosen a new hospital under the new insurance plan (USCF Mission Bay in San Francisco). However, I've been trying to get ahold of them since the New Year to schedule prenatal appts with whatever doctor is available. They left me a voicemail today saying they're booked until mid-February. I'm due March 8th! If they truly can't take me, I'll try to get a back up OBGYN elsewhere and then transfer care over in mid-Feb. The insurance world sucks.
