Best birth control to help pain from endometriosis?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with endometriosis. The pain is so bad so I want to be on birth control but the problem is, i get super nauseous & moody (I also have bipolar disorder). I’ve tried about 3 different regular pills, and the mini pill. My doctor mentioned the Nuva Ring, so I was wondering if anyone had opinions on it? The IUD I would like to not do as I have pelvic wall spasms so a pelvic exam is extremely painful and I can’t get a IUD without a pelvic exam. Thank you!!!
