This is the dumbest thing ever. A push present 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes I did! 🥰 quick story: I posted on IG that I was super excited to open my push present. My male cousin, who I haven’t seen in a decade, commented “poor kid”. Not sure if he meant my baby or husband. Anyway I deleted it. So the next day -over 13 hours later- he posted a status on FB about how push presents are dumb. (Side note: five men with children disagreed with him. Two females who are single with children were critical of the gifts... take that as you wish). Anyway. I had to ask why would a male relative of mine be so damn bitter that his female cousin has a husband who surprised her with a special present? Not many of my friends/relatives got push presents. Who cares? If your baby dad wants to get you a present, don’t let anyone try to cheapen that for you. If your baby dad didn’t get you a present and you want one- open your mouth or ditch the loser. People will only treat you the way you let them!

My husband got me a blue topaz and rose gold necklace. Partly as a push present and partly because blue topaz is our baby’s birthstone, so it’s a memento. My husband felt strongly about getting me a gift. 
Some people may think it’s stupid, but I find it sweet that he wanted to celebrate our son’s birth and show me some extra love at a time when I needed it most.

I was induced the week before xmas so I had to go in the night before. My fiance ran down to the Starbucks to get a bagel and he stopped in the gift shop. He got me a silly headband that had holiday lights on it to make me feel better lol. It was silly but adorable. This year was the first holiday season we really were into it because of the upcoming birth of our lil one.

I didn’t even know a push present was a thing lol but my husband surprised me with a beautiful infinity shaped necklace with a topaz heart in the middle and said it was her birthstone and when she gets older I could give it to our daughter. It was really sweet and I cried but I wasn’t expecting anything.

My husband did surprise me with a necklace that had both of my kiddos birthstones in it, I never used the term push present but I guess you could consider it that. I just considered it him being super thoughtful and sweet. ❤️
