Corsodyl has completely ruined my tastebuds... anyone else

Throughout pregnancy I was lucky that my oral hygiene stayed the same, and I had no issues with gum disease, although my gums did bleed a lot. At 36 weeks, my gums were painful and coming away from my back teeth accompanied by oral thrush... went to my dentist and she’d told me it wasn’t so bad (IT WAS AWFUL) and to keep up with the way I’m brushing and flossing, although I should swap my mouthwash for corsodyl.

My oral hygiene has returned back to normal, and I stopped using corsodyl around one week ago as I could constantly taste it throughout the day, and I was unable to taste my food. A week later and I still have the constant taste of corsodyl in my mouth, and I can barely taste my food! Booked in to see my dentist next week, but I just wondered if this has happened to anyone else?
