Would you put off TTC in my case?

My husband and I had been planning to pull the goalie this month. I am 33, almost 34. He is 34. On New Years eve some good friends of ours from his home state called to ask him to be a groomsman in their wedding. I’m so excited for them and would be thrilled to be with them on their big day. But the wedding involves traveling very far (a couple days drive from us) and is tentatively scheduled for November. So April would be the earliest I could get pregnant and both of us be able to attend.

Would you keep taking BC until April (I’m on the Nuva ring if it makes a difference). Get off BC but just avoid the fertile days? Would love to hear your thoughts!
