I had testing done at 10 weeks (glucose/chromosome abnormally, stuff like that) and I was supposed to get a gender test don’t but I just got my results back and they didn’t do it! My doctor ordered it but the clinic said they can’t find gender with multiple gestation? I’ve heard of other woman with twins getting it done, whats the deal?

The only test that can confirm genders of both twins is a panorama. Otherwise, you have to wait for the ultrasound.

My doctor does the progenity. They just say unless they are sharing a placenta they can only promise if 1 is a boy if they are a Y chromosome. If no Y then both can be confirmed girls.

Well I got the nipt test done with my twins but it only find out one gender of the baby ! But if the testing coming back and say you having a girl then both of them a girl but if come back and say u having a boy then u might can be having a boy and a girl or both boys . I don’t know know why they said they can’t do testing with twins but it’s a way u can !

I had the Natera Panorama test done at 11 weeks and it told me I was having identical girls

The Harmony can tell you gender of twins, I’m having it done next week.

Maybe they don’t do it because it wouldn’t be able to tell you both genders unless it was two girls? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was also told that they can’t determine gender with twins. My OB said that I can’t get the test done for that reason. So I’ll be waiting until 16 weeks maybe and I’ll try a private ultrasound.
