Anyone measuring ahead??

Question

Had a routine appointment today. Was also my GD test they’re testing for preeclampsia also. Should get all results tomorrow. 
When they measured my fundal height the midwife said I was measuring 3 weeks ahead so she wants to do a growth ultrasound in 2 weeks. 
What does this really mean?

My bub was measuring 23 weeks at my 20 week scan but they aren't to concerned just said going to be a big baby my boys are bigger than my girls my last boy was 9lb14

I had my appointment this morning and I’m measuring 2 weeks ahead. My doctor hasn’t mentioned a growth ultrasound yet, but did say she needs to see me frequently to continue monitoring growth. She didn’t seem concerned, but did mention it will very likely lead to an earlier birth than my original due date. I know that’s not much help, but you’re not alone!

I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about. Just like older children, they all develop at a different rate. Past 12 weeks or so they will start to vary. The early dating ultrasound (8weeks) is the most accurate for setting a due date as that’s when nearly all babies measure the same. That your baby is measuring big doesn’t mean they will come any earlier. I’m measuring 4 weeks ahead right now based on fundal height, and have an ultrasound next week to check his position and size (which isn’t very accurate either). If your baby is in a breech or transverse position, that can also affect the fundal height. Try not to worry! Everything will be ok!

I kept measuring two weeks ahead so they did a ultrasound to see if it was just amino fluid or the baby. Sure enough his arms and legs were just long like daddy’s ☺️

I'm also measuring 3 weeks ahead. At my last appt I had a us and baby was measuring like 4 days ahead but belly was measuring a little more than 2 weeks ahead so it is because I have too much fluid. Its mild polyhydraminos

Fundal height doesn’t actually mean a lot. The size of your belly could be completely different from the size of your baby. I think it’s dumb how they even go by that at all
