Ladies in the US what did your OB perform at your 38 week appointment?

What happened at your 38 week appointment? Cervical check? Induction options if you go over? I just have my appointment tomorrow I’ll be 38+3 and was wondering what they could possibly do? I know all doctors/obs are different, just curious 🤗

Cervical check, heartbeat check, measurement of the belly, and for me my dr told me the possibility of having to have a c-section.

I had mine today:
- cervix check and sweep (since I was 2-3cm already)
- checked the heart rate with a Doppler
- the normal urine check that I do every visit
- BPP since I mentioned he’s slowed his movements a little bit 
At 39 weeks they’ll do a BPP, an NST, a cervical check and another sweep

Had mine on monday and she checked blood pressure, urine, fetal heart rate, and measured my belly. Since i was measuring small she ordered a growth ultrasound, which turned out fine. We didnt go over any induction options or anything, probably because it wasnt the normal doctor i see. Hoping to talk about that stuff at the next appointment!

I had already done the strep b test, so 38 weeks was just normal. Heartbeat, my weight, my blood pressure, general questions... my ob won’t talk about inducing until 41 weeks.
I was offered a cervical check, but since I wasn’t having contractions they said it would be pretty pointless, so I declined.

I had mine today and she did nothing but check in on how I’m doing and measure my stomach.

I had mine today at 38+4. Since I'm high risk due to blood pressure issues since 17 weeks, I had an ultrasound to check on him, the usual urine sample, and a stress test. OB did a cervical check, we discussed the contractions I've been having and he asked: "So when do you want to have this baby?" 🤣 I said sooner rather than later since I'm no longer sleeping well and he said "how about Monday?" And we set up the induction.

With my first I had a cervical check and heartbeat check, and just general discussion of induction schedule at 40 + 5, and that I could elect for a membrane sweep at 39w. This time I’m at midwives office instead of an OB and not sure if they’ll even do a cervical check at my appt next week!
