This is my second pregnancy, my first one my blood sugar stayed high but not so high that they were worried. I was never diagnosed with GD the first time. (I’m using a different doctor this time as well.) I went for my first test and failed. They didn’t make me take the 3 hr test, instead immediately referred me to a diabetic specialist and now I’m pricking my finger every time I eat. I feel like my world has been turned upside down. Is it normal to skip the three hr test after failing the one hr???
