Losing virginity

Has anyone had troubles getting it in first time having sex? I know obviously it’s tight and hard but like the first time I tried I was super dry and nervous and not even really turned on so the tip hardly got in but the second time I was more turned on but it still wouldn’t go in, we tried several different positions and he got maybe a quarter of the way in me and I literally felt a tear or pop but it couldn’t go any further, has anyone else experienced this?? If so, what did you do to help it
