Known donor registry

Hello ladies my wife and I have been ttc since May of last year. Our donor just bailed on us on New year's day (my ovulation day) smh so we have since then signed up for known donor registry and alot of donors in our area are willing to help. My question is has anyone used kdr and found a reliable donor? And if so what made u pick him ? We are nervous because our old donor we knew personally but now to meet a complete stranger and have him donate for us is overwhelming. So if you have any pointers on picking a donor we will highly appreciate it
