When to announce at work?

When is a good time to announce to my team at work that I’m expecting? My boss already knows and says the team will be able to tell on their own soon if not already. 
Did you do an announcement or just let people figure it out and ask?

I work in the ER, meaning there’s various patients I’m not allowed to care for when pregnant. Everyone knew the day after I found out lol😑

I work for the school and I just let everyone figure it out. I told my boss and one day I had to leave early so the secretaries knew and that's how it got out.

I announced at 13 weeks (Christmas holidays) on social media and since then I’ve just been telling coworkers as I see them. “How was your break?” “Great! I’m pregnant!” 😆

I told my team and admin as soon as I knew. But I work with kids in special education that can get aggressive so I wanted to make sure people knew. And I can’t ever get into my doctor outside of the school day so I have to leave early for my appointments
