Fever after first vaccinations?

My son had his 2 month vaccinations earlier today, and they told me he could develop a fever, but I’m still worried. He looks a little pale, I think he’s got chills, and his temp is 100.4
I’m a first time mom, so I’m not sure what to expect. We’ve already gave him Tylenol but I don’t think it’s helping. 😰 I just want my little guy to feel better.

He should be fine. The effects can last up to 48 hours. Just make sure to comfort him and he will be ok.

Thats how high my little mans temp got after his 2 month vaccinations. He was really fussy for a day and half... I just held him all day and noticed that he cluster fed the whole day. It really sucked seeing him like that but by 36 hours after he was back to his happy self. Good luck 🍀

Fever is normal. Our pediatrician said if it lasts longer than 48 hrs or gets higher that 101 to call them. Usually Tylenol & a bath help

Just keep giving it to him a few more times like normal and if it still doesn’t go away within the next day or two or gets higher I would take him in

Ok, his temp is now 100.7 I’m going to try giving him a bath and see if that helps any. 😰
The nurse that gave him the vaccines said to bring him to the ER if it’s over 103 :/ I personally think that fever is too high.

It’s normal. What I do before my kids get vaccines is give them Tylenol an hour or 2 before the appointment so they won’t get hit with the side effects as bad 😊
