My son was recently diagnosed with acid reflux and the doctor gave him a Zantac prescription. He has been on it for 4 days and after every time he takes him medication (.3 ml 3 times a day) he is super upset. Cries no stop for the next hour, spits everything up, and seems to be in pain. I only started noticing this type of behavior after he gets his drops. I hate to see him in that much pain and am wondering if I should stop giving him the medication and try something more natural such as gripe water or a chiropractor. Or if I should continue to give the drops and see if he gets used to them. Anyone else have issues with Zantac and what did you do?
