⚠️ WARNING TMI ⚠️

At my 6 week check in my doctor noticed I had genital warts. She prescribed me imiquimod. I’ve only used it three times so far. The first two times it didn’t bother me.

Yesterday I woke up and felt a little bit of itching. I went to my doctors appt and had to do a pap and I suppose everything looked okay because she didn’t seem concerned.

Today my vagina felt like it was on fire and it was in pain. I took a bath to try and soak but it was still burning. I sat in the mirror and looked and my entire vagina looks swollen. The skin is red with white spots and there is kind of white discharge coming out.

I messaged my doctor to see if this was normal as well or if I should stop treatments.

But my question is has anyone else done this treatment and had this same reaction or similar?
