UTI possibly? Help !!

So my boyfriend and I hold a long distance relationship therefore we only have sex about 1-2 times a month. We recently had sex and now when I pee it stings, but that’s all, I told him about it and he said it did to him as well but it went away but mine hasn’t, it doesn’t sting as much as it did it has been going on for about two days now and suddenly this coming out? Pls help! Need your thoughts! Has this happened to anyone and if so pls comment your solution, I have an appointment next week for the doctors but would like to see what you guys have to say! (Has never happened) we’ve been together for two years and he is not having any relations with any girls!
