My son is 9.5 months and still in his infant carrier. As long as your baby is within the height and weight restrictions for her seat she can stay in it. I personally find the infant carrier convenient.

We switched at 4 months because he outgrew the height on it !! Best decision ever !! We absolutely love our grow n go

We switched at 4 months because our daughter outgrew her infant seat in height. She was 16 pounds and 30 inches long.
