So, I had my baby Tuesday and on Wednesday her bilirubin levels were at 9.4. They kept her under the lights for 24 hours and when they rechecked she was at an 8.8 so we got to go home Last night.

We had an appointment today to re check her levels and they came back at 11.6 except the doctor didn’t seem concerned. He said he didn’t want to do the bilirubin blanket yet as it’s not necessary but we have to go back in tomorrow for another check. I have a feeling they will have risen again.

Are these levels super high for 72 hours? I don’t want to go back and have her stay in the NICU 😞
