Clomid side effects?

Going to be starting our first round of Clomid later this month. Just curious what to expect wise effect wise 😬 I’ve heard it’s made some people “crazy” others super emotional, some no change! 
Fingers crossed nothing major happens but honestly even if I do cry everyday then go crazy I’m still excited for this next step after TTC for 16months !!

50mg wasn’t bad. 100-150mg was a little worse. 200mg sucked, I also did 200mg for 10 days instead of 5 like I had with the other doses so that probably had something to do with it. I had hot flashes, mood swings, trouble sleeping, and on 200mg blurred vision which made me dizzy. No matter what time I took it (morning or night) I had the same side effects and it just got progressively worse with each round. I did 7 rounds total and developed a cyst my last round. I didn’t respond well to it either, I only ovulated 2 of the 7 cycles and it never resulted in pregnancy. Hopefully you have better luck! Everyone responds differently.

I took mine at night and still had hot flashes and crazy night sweats.  I was a little emotional too.  I took 50mg for 2 cycles then ended up with multiple large cysts so that was the end of that ☹️.  They put me on birth control to suppress the cysts and then my cycles were totally irregular for 3 more months. From what I understand, cysts are a common side effect as well.

I don’t have any symptoms. My sister in law, however, gained about 10 lbs almost immediately and carried that weight for the 3 cycles it took her to get pregnant on it. Once she got pregnant and stopped the clomid, the weight came right off. She also suffered hot flashes while on it. Best of luck to you and hopefully you have no issues!

It’s not to bad.. first month I just had hot flashes and from then on I did keep on having hot flashes, light headaches and cramping that’s all not to bad
