If you got pregnant while breastfeeding did your milk completely dry up?

Please comment on things to help with pumping production. I’m trying to make sure my son gets enough at daycare and feel like I’ve tried everything.

I continued nursing until I was 6 months pregnant. If my supply was drying up at all it must have happened at the same rate my son was weaning because we didn’t have any issues.

My milk lasted about 9 weeks before it cut in half and my breasts got so sore I had to stop pumping. I give kudos to mamas who were able to BF throughout. I tried power pumping, pumping every 2 hours and drank 60 to 90 oz a day. My milk supply just slowly went away until I finally gave up from pain.

I got pregnant at 8wpp and stopped nursing my daughter at 7 months old. My milk didnt dry up per say but she definitely wasnt getting what she needed. She would be so fussy and wanting to constantly be latched and just not a happy baby. When I finally gave in and switched to formula, it completely transformed her. She slept a lot longer and actually seemed satisfied. It made me feel so guilty to have waited so long

I didnt get my cycle until 17 months post partum and we were barely weaning. We were trying to get pregnant. I got pregnant that cycle....that was in august. By end of october my supply dried up. My daughter just shy of 21 months. We pushed on the weaning, limiting. My body did the rest. I was grateful because nursing hurt a bit whilst being pregnant.
