Why me !!!

Had my little mans 2 month appointment and he only gained 0.20 oz in 3 weeks  😭 so I was told he’s not allowed to sleep past 6am anymore bye bye 8hr + sleeps he’s BF and sometimes given a bottle by dad. I’m one sad panda that my little man didn’t gain enough. Hopefully don’t have to start him on formula top ups  was hoping to just breast feed him for 6 months at least.

Aww. Don’t be hard on yourself mama! Just offer the breast as often as you possibly can. If you end up having to supplement, so be it. As long as he stays healthy!!!

I understand completely’ when we went at 6 weeks for a checkup, we found out he had barely gained any weight.
So after each breastmilk feed, I need to top off with formula (1oz at first then if he’s still hungry he will have another 1pz), so the next three weeks until the next appointment.
I’ll admit though that I wasn’t resting enough or eating as much calories/protein which may also be why he wasn’t drinking as much as I thought he was.
Hoping at the check up he’ll have gained enough so that I can go back to only breastmilk! But ultimately as long as Bub is healthy and growing appropriately I am content ☺️
