Personally I feel you should at least be out of high school for a few reasons. One being there is a lot of pressure to have sex in high school so you may not actually be ready for it even if you think you are. (If you are questioning if you should, then you likely aren’t ready. When you are you won’t question it.) And also most high school relationships don’t last (some definitely do though!)
 
But definitely only when you are ready for sex and also have prepared for it (to some degree) by educating yourself on how to have safe sex, getting on BC and using condoms. (Or you and your partner getting tested if you choose to go w/o condoms and are on BC). And this goes regardless of what your age is, you can definitely be 16 and ready or 22 and not ready at all!
As far as the youngest age it’s okay to. I would say age of consent which can vary depending on where you live but most places it’s 16. Which if you are younger part of you educating yourself can be looking into those laws. This is important bc if let’s say your parents found out then the person you are with, especially if they are older/above the age of consent, can get charged with statutory rape.

Whenever you’re ready, so long as both partners are at least legal age of consent and there’s nothing illegal (out of correct, legal age range) and you’ve discussed it at length. I, personally, am waiting until marriage, so that may mean 20 or 25 depending on how this relationship goes.
