Mom problems

I had an argument with my mother over messenger, she eventually attacked me that I'm becoming a cheap person and I told her she's a bully and the cheapest person there is, is her. So, she told me I'm being disrespectful therefore I shouldn't visit her for a long time. I did write to with an apology but stood my ground to not talk to me so harshly. She never responded. I feel terrible but at the same time I'm angry how she thinks she can talk to me however she wants and I shouldn't talk back.

How long you think I should keep my distance? Do I check in after some time?
