The waiting sucks

So yesterday I found out that I am going to have to start birth control for 3 months. My husband and I have been trying for a year with no luck so I went to the doctor and she wants to put me on birth control to restart my ovaries. I was hoping to be pregnant for my birthday in February so I could tell my dad when I went to visit him. Now I have to wait until the end of march to start fertility pills. I couldn't stand tww when we were trying how am I going to get through 3 months knowing it's not going to happen.
