Does your SO for the most part respond to what you say or ignore what you say?

I’ll be talking and my SO will be standing next to me then instead of even acknowledging what I say will say something else. I just am getting tired of it. I wanted to know if I’m just being a baby and should get over it or talk to them again about how it makes me feel when they don’t even acknowledge me talking. Am I the only one?

that would bug the shit out of me. i absolutely hate repeating myself to somebody who isn’t listening to me. i have this weird insecurity around not being listened to which is why i don’t talk much. this being said my boyfriend has ADHD and his mind wanders a lot, so sometimes we’ll be talking and he’ll totally space out or jump into talking about something else. we’ve talked about it a lot though and worked on communication.

Drives me crazy if he doesn't respond. I call him out on it if he does that.

My so does the same thing but he won’t even know o was talking so in order for me to say something I have to have his attention otherwise I would be talking to a wall.
