How does your baby usually like to sleep?

I’m just curious, really. My son will be 23 weeks tomorrow and we had to transition him out of the Merlin’s Magic Sleepsuit this week because he started rolling in it. We have noticed that he really likes sleeping on his stomach. It makes me nervous but if that’s how he’s going to roll and sleep, there’s not much I can do to help it, right? He rolls from back to stomach with no issues at all but still isn’t rolling back to his back as smoothly. But I guess time will help! Thanks in advance for any comments!

My 5.5 month old sleeps on his side, back and belly! I put him down on his back, occasionally on his side if he is starting to curl that way when I lay him down. He also struggles to roll from his belly to his back while in his crib, so when he wakes up he normally just cries lol. I don’t think it’s a concern when they can roll on their own to their stomach!

Always put them down on their back but once they can get into other positions on their own their strong enough to get out if need be. Don't worry about your belly sleeper! In fact, I wish mine would sleep on his belly (babies tend to sleep better on their bellies) but he just gets angry and thinks he has to hold his head up 😭

When my daughter was born she always slept on her sides. Starting at 4 months, she started sleeping on her back. For naps, I used to put her on her stomach but she’d be by my side the whole time and she’d nap much longer. Now she only takes 10-15 min naps lol
