As a nurse I know that a short follicular phase makes it more difficult to get pregnant because the egg is not as mature as it should be. Up until like 3 cycles ago I was ovulating anywhere from CD 14-17. The last few cycles I’ve ovulated early. The past two I’ve ovulated on CD 11 with a positive OPK on CD 10. I know that’s premature and not optimal for TTC even though I’m not TTC. I’m currently just going into CD 12 and my OPKs are starting to get a bit darker. Not positive yet but soon. Anyone have a successful pregnancy with premature ovulation? I really really want kids in the future.
