Paxil during pregnancy?

My EDD is Sept. 8th & up until a few days ago I was taking 10mg of Paxil everyday & was instructed to stop immediately by my OBs office. 😏 They put me on Zoloft to try to lessen the withdrawals but I'm not sure it's any better than Paxil in terms of risks to the baby. I'm having the worst withdrawal symptoms right now but I think I'm just going to push thru it & not take anything at all right now.

I was taking paxil but my doctor told me if I was to get pregnant to stop taking it so I'd say no dont take it

Zoloft is the safest one to take according to my doctor and own research. Even if you decide to stop taking anything at all, you should wean yourself off with the Zoloft. Stopping SSRIs cold turkey is not healthy.

Paxil is NOT safe for pregnancy. It's category X. Zoloft is category B. Please talk to your mental health provider if you plan to stop taking anything at all.
