So today I’ve done something I’m so proud of 😍

I’ve become a human milk donor at the North West Human Milk Bank.

I have a ‘milk man’ who comes and collects my frozen expressed milk on a blood bike (one of those bikes that transports blood and donor organs for transfusions/transplants) and takes it to a facility to be pasteurised.

Once pasteurised, it’s distributed to NICU’s across the North West of England and given to premature babies.

I’m able to do this as I have an established supply and am blessed to have a beautiful baby who sleeps 10-12 hours a night. I wake up so engorged that I pump one breast whilst she nurses from the other.
