To skip my period do I just skip the last week of birth control, the last row? The white ones?

Please help, I did so and my period came still a week after it was supposed to but that I skipped.....and I usually only have a heavy flow the first three days this time it’s my 7th day and I’m still pretty heavy

You skip the placebo pills and start a new pack right away. 
When I tried to skip my period it didn't work. They are low hormone ones though so that may be why. Ended up having my period/spotting for months until I gave up trying to skip it and let myself have the week break.

It might take a few months to adjust but you can keep skipping until you don't have them. Just don't take the placebos and start the next pack right away

That's how you are supposed to do it, but it doesnt always work. I've never been able to skip periods I get them no matter the brand or level of hormones 🤷‍♀️
