When should I test

Due to holidays I forgot to take ovulation test (big mistake 🙃) my ovulation is irregular there for so is my period but it always starts on 12 dpo, on the 24 th I had lots of egg white mucus, most I’ve ever gotten then that night bd, does that mean it’s likely I ovulated that day, glows predicted ovulation day , cd 16 I took a test and was negative. I have no clue when my period should start or to test any help please
