Using dilators for vagnismus 😖
Has anyone here had vagnismus? I've been told it's pretty common.
For those of you who don't know, a quick summary of it is involuntarily tightening of the vaginal wall muscles. So things like penetration, inserting tampons, etc. are generally painful & uncomfortable.
I have this & am using dilators to help stretch & am wondering when you all who have had it started feeling results? Or any tips?
I'm also doing pelvic floor exercises because I have a relatively weak pelvic floor. Would this hurt my vagnismus progress or help it?
Another side note, I'm about 15 weeks pregnant (3rd baby). Hoping I can get my lady area in it's best shape before delivery. 💪
