My husband and I both had terrible sore throats so first thing in the morning we went to our doctor. We were told it would take 20-40 minutes we were there for 3 hours 🙄. Turns out we both have strep throat. Then have to go pick up our antibiotics. My husband is passed out on the couch so I took our daughter and went to get them. Mine got sent and his didn’t. Spent over an hour talking to the pharmacy people then calling the doctor then waiting for it to be ready. Then we wanted a little bit fun since it was our daughters first birthday. So we gave her a cupcake for the first time. She has an allergic reaction. She could breathe and everything just fine but within minutes she has a huge red blotchy rash on her face and she rubbed it in her eyes so her eyes swelled up almost swollen shut. Clean her up take her to the doctor. Fortunately her doctors office has walk-ins so we didn’t have to go the ER. The rash went down a lot by the time we got there which was only like 20 minutes after it happened. Her oxygen was fine, no other symptoms except the rash(which was gone after a couple of hours) so they gave us Benadryl and sent us home. It happened so fast. Scariest dang day of my life for a second I thought I might lose my baby girl. Thank god she’s totally ok now. But still not the best way to spend your baby’s first birthday 😕
