Vitex & weight gain?

If you’ve used vitex, did you experience weight gain? I just started using it. My hope is that it’ll help regulate my periods. Currently they are super long 👎🏼👎🏼

Hi, I recently tried Vitex to help regulate my period. After a week, my flow came BUT I also out on close to 10 lbs in that week! I'm def not wanting to put on weight so am hesitant whether to start back taking it or not (I stopped taking it when my period came and am supposed to start when my period stops). 
Did you decide to try it?
