Wrong number?

So tonight as my SO and I are watching Netflix in bed his phone goes off at midnight. We both look at at and it’s a text from some girl saying “hey Greg, we met on tinder and I went out of town but I’m back now and want to meet up” with a picture of her topless... now, my SO’s name isn’t Greg, BUT... like WTF? He’s of course denying everything, but part of me is wondering if he has a fake profile on tinder... or maybe it’s really a wrong number? I just don’t feel like girls text naked pics unless they know the person... HELP

If she had to mention they met on tinder, I don’t think she knows him (just to cancel out your ‘she wouldn’t send nudes unless she knew him’ theory). When you know someone, you usually don’t have to remind them where you met/ect, it would of been ‘hey it’s __ I just got back from out of town and want to meet up’ or even a ‘hey I just got back, wanna meet up’. (Because if he knew her, she’s probably assume he knew her number already) 
The fact she said a wrong name also points to it being a wrong number, or actual Greg gave her what he thought was a fake number to get her to leave him alone 
I’d give him the benefit of the doubt, I’ve gotten some weird ass texts before from random numbers (and I’ve had the same number for almost a decade even) If he’s innocent and you need peace of mind, ask to look at his phone and go to his email and search for emails containing the keyword ‘tinder’ and see what comes up, or go to tinder and see if he’s automatically logged in, or do whatever you want to for peace of mind. Yes you’re supposed to trust him and ect ect, but checking things out seems like a pretty quick solution

My boyfriend got a text from a girl he had literally just met of a picture of her ass. Don’t put it past someone. Some people are just that thirsty 🙄

My husband has gotten texts like that and even pictures sent to him. He’s never cheated or anything and it’s always someone’s name and I know he wouldn’t tell a chick his name is something different because one of his pet peeves is people calling him by the wrong name. I’ve also had chicks text my phone saying things like that and obviously I’m not out scouting for girls lol. We just delete and move on.

I feel like they’re scammers honestly. I wouldn’t worry much about it.
