When should I have my baby shower? 🤰🏽💕

I am due with my first baby on September 2nd 2019 but that is my 40 week date so I most likely will deliver before that so I will probably give birth sometime in August. How far along are people usually when have their baby showers? I don’t want to be too early and look like I’m too eager

I say 2 months before you’re due date. It is good to give yourself time to get everything put together, clothes washed, & prepared for the little baby! 
I’m due in August and my mother in law said she will plan ours for June.

Id say a month before. And this is your first and you think youre going to go into labor beforw your due date why?

I had mine at 34-35 weeks.

I had mine at 30weeks but only because my family were travelling 4 weeks beforehand.
Most I have been to have been around the 34-36 week mark

i had mine with my son june 11th 2016 and had a due dat of August 6th but ended up having my son july 23rd 2016 at 36 weeks due to cholestasis. so i also plan to have this ones baby shower in may just in case.

My shower was 4/15/18 and I was due 5/12/18. So like month before our due date is good and don’t assume you will give birth early. First pregnancies don’t mean anything.
