High FSH 12.4 and high AMH 39!! Is this even possible?

So I am 28 years old and about to start my first round of

in two weeks and I got my blood test results back with my ultrasound.

My FSH is 12.5

AMH is 39

Now it’s my understanding that if you have a high FSH, you’re going through early menopause or ovarian failure.

I’m retaking my blood work because my doctor is confused with the results because my ultrasound showed images of my growing many follicles in my ovaries and I was close to ovulation.

Has anyone had experience of results similar to mine and manages to have children?

My fsh was 12.5 ,after taking dhea for 3 weeks it came down to 9.3

Hi ladies, I ended up retesting and having my FSH at 6.4 which is normal for my age. I asked why it was previously at 12 and they explained it was likely I did my blood test too late.
Anyway, we went ahead with IVF ICSI, I got quite a severe case of OHSS and had to cancel my fresh transfer so I could recover. They managed to retrieve over 30 eggs, 19 became fertilised and 13 made it to  day 5 blastocyst stage at excellent quality. When I finally recovered we went ahead with a FET. It didn’t work sadly, it was the hardest news to ever hit me when I got that negative. I will be honest, I didn’t handle it well. My DH was really supportive throughout the whole thing. It’s been tough but I’m better now, onwards and upwards.

Hey I know this post is old but what ended up happening?  I have high FSH at 14 and high AMH at 5.19.  I’m only 28 so slightly freaking out, my ovaries showed follicles also
