How do you respond when people ask how old your babe is?

Lately every time people ask how old my son is I say 2, then they go wow he's big for 2. Which he really isn't by the charts,  he's pretty average lol. So then I follow up with "well he'll be 3 in the spring/ April". When they're little should I be more specific?! Haha

I say “he will be 3 in April” because there’s such a huge developmental difference between him at a flat 2, and him now.

I think I'll start switching to 2 and 1/2 or 3 in April Haha. I just refuse to be that mom that's crazy specific and telling the world things like my child is 61 months old

lol my daughter will be 3 in April and I always just say she’s too and she talks extremely well (yesterday she told me “mommy I’ve never seen the original beauty and the beast”) original?! Lol where did that even come from? Well anyways she always corrects me and says “momma I not 2 I 2 1/2” she cracks me up!

It's crazy how much growing they do between 2 & 3.
