Is Magnolia a weird name for a girl?

Live in the south and love more southern or traditional names. We like the potential nicknames (Maggie, lia, mags, etc) but is it too weird? I know there’s some crazy unique names and spellings now. We don’t want something made up or anything with the -Leigh ending that’s so popular now. Middle name will be Mae like mine. Suggestions welcome!

I named my dog this exact thing, Magnolia Mae. Called her Magmag or Mags, so I obviously can’t help but think of her, but I also liked it enough to name my first (fur)child it, so 🤷🏻‍♀️
