Canker sores need help? Do you get them ?

but anyone here get canker sores?
I used to get them a lot but switched to SLS free paste. 
Now I get them once every 2-3 years. 
Unfortunately I have one now and I think it’s from my poor eating habits lately (holidays/ chocolate/ alcohol) 
Anyone have any tips to get rid of it?

When I was younger I used to get them all the time. My doctor gave me a prescription for them. It was a paste. It stuck to everything and it was gritty. I hated it but it worked. I don't get them very often anymore. I just deal with them until they go away.

I buy this thing at Walmart called kanka and it helps!

I get them if I drink mountain dew,so I try to limit mountain dews to 1 or 2 a year .
I just gargle salt water when i get them.

I get them like every month unfortunately. I use kanka soft brush on them. It’s a numbing medicine that tends to help them heal pretty quick. Or you can gargle salt Water that’s supposed to help as well.

“Canker covers” work best for me. They are hard little pill looking things that turn into a gel and covers them so they don’t run on anything

Put salt directly on it. It burns for 10 seconds but does a great job cleaning the sore out. Then rinse with water.

I use orajel! Or just brushing your teeth and getting the toothpaste on them. Ut burns so bad but really helps them go away
