Have any of you breastfeeding moms started your period yet?

We want to start trying for another baby but I'm still breastfeeding and haven't had a period. Don't know if it will lower my chances?

Wow I must have pulled the short straw, I've had a regular period since 3 months pp and I'm exclusively breast feeding.

Same boat want to start try #2 but no period. My mom usually had a healthy pregnancy around 8 months pp and she breastfed to 1 year.

I haven’t started yet. It took 10 months after my first baby to get my period back. I wasn’t on birth control or using protection and it took two cycles before getting pregnant. I have plenty of friends who never got their period back before getting pregnant again though.

You ovulate before you get a period, so there's a chance you could get pregnant again and never have a period in between. I had a ton of ewcm a couple of weeks before I got my period back in December. I knew it was coming, but I was hoping I was wrong.

I’ve had two regular periods so far but I’ve been taking ovulation test and never gotten a peak. We wanna try for number 2 but I’m worried I’m not ovulating again and we’re gonna have to go through fertility meds again. The first time ttc, I wasn’t ovulating but never had periods either so I’m hoping since I got regular periods started back up that my body is slowly getting back to normal everything
