Does any one else have a fibroid?

After delivering my first baby in Sep 2016 I had a lot of bleeding for months. I had an ultrasound which showed I had a fibroid about 5cm. I am now 13-14 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I have my first nhs scan on tue so will find out then what’s happening with the fibroid. Does anyone else have a fibroid and have you been told this will affect your pregnancy in anyway?

I have one! It’s on my left side. No bleeding at all and the doc said the same - that they’re very common and usually nothing to worry about. They just like to monitor the size for records. Last checked it was still under a centimetre and the next update will be in 4 more weeks.

I have 2 fibroids.  During my ultrasounds they told me that where they are positioned would not affect the baby during pregnancy.  They say it is normal to have them so I wouldn’t worry about it at all.
