So my baby is now 5 weeks old and I've gotten to the point where after I've tried everything and she still won't calm down, I've started to just let her cry it out until she calms down and falls asleep. (Doesn't exceed 3-5 mins before she's knocked out.)

Sometimes I feel guilty but I get flustered trying to calm her down when all she's crying about is being tired but doesn't want to sleep. My husband gets upset that I don't just pick her up and continue trying to console her but it seems pointless to get frustrated when I know she's tired and after enough crying, she'll end up tiring herself out and going to sleep.

Does anyone else let their baby cry it out or is it just me?
