Back labor?

Question

Those of you who have had back labor, what do the contractions feel like? Did you only feel it in your back or did you feel it in your back & abdomen area at the same time?
40 weeks today & for the past hour had 3 moments of weird back pain, sharp enough to take my breath away, lasts anywhere from 15-30seconds and feels like what I remember contractions feeling like but I’m ONLY feeling it in my back, not my belly.

Mine was just the worst back pain ever. I was just telling my mom yesterday that I have no idea what real abdominal contractions feel like because I only ever felt them in my back. Like lightening shooting down your spine into your butt and down your legs

When I had back labor I didn’t feel anything in my abdomen except a bit of tightening. It was horrible cramping in my lower back that radiated down my ass and thighs.

Its hard to say when I had back contractions it started in my back and worked it’s way into the front of my uterus

Like someone was stabbing a knife into my lower back and turning it. This baby made it feel also like my pelvis was splitting apart in the back. Hurts worse than "front" labor pains.

For me it was like a crampy pain in my lower back that wrapped around my abdomen and down my thighs. But I think different people experience it in different ways though...

Okay I’m thinking it’s more just baby pressing on a nerve then because it doesn’t wrap around to the front at all and is more in my lower to mid back area. But we shall see!
