Alright ladies....I haven’t had health insurance for the last two years (they stated I made two much, when I brought home $600 every two weeks) and of course the jobs I was working at didn’t offer any insurance. Now that I’m only bringing home $400-$500 every two weeks they said I am eligible for state insurance. So I finally am able to go see a doctor ! I’m calling tomorrow to set up an appointment. A year ago my boyfriend and I decided to ttc. And I believed the first month we ended up having a chemical. I had my period for nearly 3 weeks after that! I tried to apply for health insurance but of course they said I made too much!! Well after that we weren’t preventing. But wasn’t really actively trying. Every other month it seemed like, my period was 3 weeks long!! In July I had one that had so much blood clots I knew something wasn’t right ! I started looking things up more. And talked to my step sister. She has endometriosis so I thought I’d see if she thought that could of been it. For as long as I can remember my cycles were always irregular. But this past year it has never been like this!!! When I was 16 I had extreme abdominal pain. I thought it was my appendix so my dad rushed me to the hospital. They couldn’t find anything wrong and sent me home after a few hours...over the next few weeks I was sick, in pain. Visiting the doctors what felt like every day!! When finally ! I found out I had two large cysts on my ovaries. 3 inches big. The doctor prescribed me birth control and said they’ll go away....I had also found out during the ultrasound that my ovaries are actually higher up than normal, and my Fallopian tubes are a little longer than normal, and my uterus is actually shifted off to the right side and not centered. I asked them if this would ever cause any issues getting pregnant and they said nope! You’ll be fine! Well 6 years with my boyfriend. Not fully preventing. I haven’t been pregnant. And this last year when we did try a few times. Still didn’t get pregnant....now I haven’t had a period in 4 months, actually just started it today!!’ ☺️☺️. Last one I had was in September. I’m making an appointment to verify if I have pcos. I have read the symptoms of pcos, and I do have the symptoms. I am going to be asking the doctor about metformin. I have seen that medication on this app so much. If it wasn’t for this app, I wouldn’t know about it at all! So ladies what were your actual symptoms of pcos. Did metformin work for you ? What did your doctor prescribe you if you didn’t get metformin.
